The accredited Computer Sciences master’s training program is coordinated with the educational system of the Republic of Serbia and the relevant accredited European and international programs. The Computer Sciences master’s program lasts for one year (two semesters) and is rewarded with 60 ESPB points. This program is intended for students who have completed four years of basic academic training and earned 240 ESPB points.
In addition to mandatory study subjects, the training program contains many optional disciplines that allow the graduate student to get profiled in the field of computer sciences in accordance with his/her personal interests.
Project tasks in which graduate students apply scientific methods and combine knowledge from various fields to solve specific practical tasks can be integrated in the master’s thesis, and the theme of the master’s thesis can be determined in course of attending classes. After completion of the master’s program in Computer Sciences, the graduate is awarded the degree of the Master of Computer Science.
Teaching of this training program is interactive and includes practical examples, thus developing creative abilities of students. This promotes independence during the work, helping students to apply gained knowledge in practice.
The goal of the training program consists in educational training of professionals to be awarded the degree of a master of computer science based on knowledge obtained in course of basic academic training, as well as preparation of students for application of modern models in the field of computer sciences. The knowledge gained by graduates allows them to find jobs at enterprises, in municipalities, banks, state institutions, organizations and institutes. The goal of this program also consists in providing the students with the ability to enroll in the doctoral program after completion of the master’s program.
Subject-specific competences obtained by students of this training program are as follows:
The ability of students to apply obtained knowledge by solving a specific project tasks, starting from identification of the problem, through analysis,
design, programming, introduction, presentation and creation of design and user documentation;
The ability to understand and implement the compiler structure,
The ability to program a micro controller in Assembler and C,
The ability of students to assess, plan and design software in accordance with the assessment of needs and obligations agreed upon,
Planning, development and performance of studies in various fields of mathematics and computing technology.
The Computer Sciences training program is integral and extensive and corresponds to several foreign programs. Conditions of enrollment and progressing to the next year’s course, as well as receiving diploma and training method have been agreed upon with certified European programs.
