The training program is developed in accordance with the needs of the modern business environment for students who intend to continue careers in the field of accounting and audit, as well as in any other field where financial information and making decisions related to financial matters play a key role.

Students involved in this program will acquire solid fundamental and operative economic knowledge and professional competences for work in the spheres of financial accounting and audit.

The main goal of the program is to prepare students for successful solving of issues in economic practices in accordance with the requirements of the international business environment, management and governance on all organization levels irrespective of the specific sphere of activities, as well as for further education.

After completing this program, students may continue education under the master’s program that takes one year or decide to start a career.

The students have confirmed the knowledge acquired by working in domestic or foreign companies and developing successful careers in accounting and audit companies, within the framework of internal audit in private and state organizations, in financial institutions and state management.

Many of our graduates also work as members of domestic and international consulting groups in positions related to finance and investments, as well as continue postgraduate academic training to obtain master’s degree both in the country and abroad.

The main advantage of this profession consists in the fact that it is in high demand in conditions of market economy and is well paid; in addition, it is influenced by the global level internationalization process. There are not enough people with qualifications required for the professions of accountants and auditors in Serbia, and the demand for these programs among students is growing every year. Accountants and auditors serve as right-hand men and women of higher management. They also bear significant social responsibility, and public supervision over this profession is established in most countries. Professional authorizations in Serbia are granted by the Chamber of Authorized Auditors, and the students are able to pursue further professional development within the framework of this institution.

This professional grows also suggests development of creative abilities in connection with consideration of problems and critical thinking, development of the team work abilities and mastering of specific practical skills required in the profession. The program offers extensive education to teach students analytical skills as well as responsible and effective decision-making.
