The program is designed for students who wish to master economic knowledge in order to be able to perform a wide range of professional and research works in the economic sphere after graduation, organize work processes and establish an effective information base for decision-making. The students acquire professional knowledge that allows them to perform modeling and analysis of the national economic policy and complex economic systems, work as analysts and planners at enterprises, financial experts, planners and experts in economic policy on the level of a separate branch of economics, specialists in international trade, finance, economists in state services (education, healthcare, statistics), tutors of economic subjects and so on.

This speciality is intended for students who are interested in deeper study of theoretical and practical aspects of complex economic analysis. The program follows modern achievements of qualitative and quantitative microanalysis and macroanalysis of the most prestigious faculties and universities of Europe. Specialization in economic analysis allows students to gain knowledge in the sphere of qualitative and quantitative analysis, learning more about statistical methods and mathematical models. Moreover, the students get an idea of the developed field of the system of national accounts, as well as the ability to work more extensively on doctrinal economic problems. This training program involving custom courses provides, among other things, the ability to come up with a professional response to the dynamic challenges of today’s business environment. The training program is focused on the study of separate important economic sectors, such as education, industry and transport, as well as specific problems such as ecology, problems of international economic relations and Serbia’s entry into the EU.

The goal of the training program is to prepare highly qualified staff in the field of economics applying relevant knowledge and methods from domestic and international practice and state-of-the-art technologies.

Development of our economic system and its integration into the regional and international environment requires professional training of specialists in this field. Economics as a field of activity plays a crucial role in the process of building integral market economy in the Republic of Serbia and holds an important place in Serbian economy in general.
