The Trade master’s program lasts for one year (two semesters) and is rewarded with 60 ESPB points. This program is intended for graduates who have completed four years of academic training (240 ESPB points).
The training program is composed of mandatory study subjects and optional study subjects. Students can influence the training structure thanks to optional academic subjects (selected by the students), thus forming their academic profiles.
Master’s program in Trade includes three mandatory study subjects and nine optional disciplines. The educational content corresponds to international trends and scientific knowledge in the field of trade. Study subjects under the Trade master’s training program are selected by specialists; therefore, by working on and mastering them, students are capable of taking part in national and international economic trends and events. This training program in terms of its structure meets current requirements and demands existing in the field of trade operations.
The Trade training program is interactive in nature, always includes practical examples, motivates students to think and express creative approach, to work independently and to apply the gained knowledge. The students will directly cooperate with tutors, check the tasks received practically in specialized computer classes, be able to express individual and team creativity, develop critical thinking and self-expression.
After completion of this program, students become experts and specialized intellectuals with a broad spectrum of possibilities for employment, personal and professional growth and improvement. The students acquire quality competences that will help them synthesize the knowledge from several fields of economics, at the same time focusing on the sphere of trade and trading processes, and competently conduct trade business within domestic and international frameworks.
Graduates of the master’s Trade program are entitled to work in trade enterprises and institutions of domestic and foreign trade, production, transport or forwarding companies or transport agencies, enterprises for contractual control of quality and quantity of goods, at storage terminals, public and customs warehouses and free zones, in companies for investment works, commercial banks or insurance companies, other service enterprises, such as trade fairs and other similar enterprises, air, sea and river ports, railway stations, foreign trade intermediary enterprises, telecommunication enterprises, marketing and other service providers, as well as various ministries, Customs Administration and so on. In addition, they may also enjoy self-employment through fulfillment of their personal entrepreneurial ideas and projects, as well as opening of own or family trade companies.
