PhD Marijana Joksimovic was born in 1980. In Serbia, Cacak, where she finished elementary school and high school. The Faculty of utility business in Novi Sad graduated 2005th year on the direction of management in the financial services sector, master’s degree at the same university 2008th year PhD from the Faculty of Business Studies, Megatrend University in Belgrade 2010th year. She was appointed assistant in selected classes at the Faculty of utility business 2006th year, the title of associate researchers selected the same faculty in the 2008th year, the title of assistant selected at Megatrend University 2008th year, and appointed Assistant Professor in 2010 . years, in 2015. she appointed Associate Professor the Megatrend University. Now she appointed Full Time Professor on Alfa BK University.
In addition to teaching, professor Joksimović also holds scientific titles. In 2016, she was elected as a Scientific Associate at the Faculty of Economics, University of Prishtina with headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica, and in 2023 she was elected as a Senior Scientific Associate at the Institute for Agricultural Economics in Belgrade. Scientific field that deals with are: International economics and international finance. She teaches courses: Banking, Management of financial risks and International business finance.
During the time between 2006 and 2008, she was working at the Faculty of utility business in New Sad. From 2008 she was assistant on Megatrend University Belgrade Department Faculty of Business Studies Vrsac. By 2010 she works like Professor on Megatrend University. Between 2010 and 2012, she was the vice-dean for basic studies on the of Business Studies in Vrsac. Between 2012 and 2013 she works like secretary of University Committee for Quality management. Between 2014 and 2018, she was the vice-dean for second, third level studies and science on Faculty of Business Studies. Between 2021 and 2022, she was the performed the function rector of Alfa BK University. Now she has held the position of Director of International Cooperation of Alfa BK University.
Also professor Joksimovic was a visiting professor at Franklin University on course Management economy in 2014/15 MBA Course  and visiting professor at University Adriatic, Montenegro in 2022/2023 PhD Course. She is a member of the editorial board of the Megatrend Review journals, Ecologika journals and Audit journals. She is a editor for finance in journal Audit. She is reviewer in more journal at SSCI list and Scopus list.

Professor Joksimovic the author of more than 110 scientific and professional papers published both in Serbia and abroad. She is also the author of five books and two monographs.
