The license for the work of the University in accordance with the regulations in force as of the date of founding of the University, as well as implementation of the accreditation process for training programs in accordance with legal provisions of the Republic of Serbia serve as the basis for legal work of our University.

The University implements successful international cooperation; our study plans and programs have been agreed with programs of related universities in other countries. This is why diplomas of the Alfa BK University are recognized in the countries of Europe and the world.

Looking at the great sacrifice of Serbian people, the Karić family in 1979 founded the Social Council in the city of Peć, helping its employees and compatriots regardless of nationality, religion and skin color.

This was a contemporary form of practically demonstrated social responsibility of the family and the Karić Brothers company that would gain its institutional basis thanks to founding the Karić Family Foundation in 1992 in Belgrade.

To this day, the Karić Brothers Foundation remains and hopes to remain for a long time a golden example for Serbia and Europe in general of how socially responsible persons and companies should act in their country.

International cooperation of the Alfa BK University with related universities in foreign countries is organized in four directions:

• cooperation with regard to the plans of student exchange and practice of our students in other countries;
• cooperation in exchange of teachers;
• cooperation in exchange of specialized literature;
• cooperation under the plan of cooperative postgraduate education, consulting, scientific projects, etc.

Within the framework of student exchange, cooperation is implemented in course of regular studies and suggests completing one semester at a certain foreign university (Alfa BK University).

It should be specifically noted that our students undergo practical training in foreign companies under supervision of the relevant university whose tutors monitor the work performed by the students.

Within the framework of exchange of teachers, cooperation implies participation of our teachers as guest tutors or under special invitation to specific lectures at foreign universities, and vice versa.

Mutual exchange of study books and professional educational literature proves the cooperation under the plan of literature exchange. Within the framework of cooperation under the plan of mutual postgraduate education, the program is implemented by our university’s or foreign master/doctoral students who study at our university for one year and then at the foreign university with which such agreement has been concluded for another year. The university for defense of the master’s or doctoral thesis is chosen by the candidate.

Cooperative international conferences dedicated to relevant topics are organized as necessary in our domestic or foreign universities. The cooperation agreement also implies development of cooperative international projects.
