The Faculty of Information Technologies FIT and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Sciences FMRN are pleased to inform you that the international scientific and professional conference ALFATECH will be held on February 28, 2025, with the theme:

SMART CITIES AND MODERN TECHNOLOGIES

The goal of the meeting is to bring together researchers and manufacturers who examine and deal with the concept of smart cities and define technological innovations in urban areas as well as numerous challenges and threats to the cities of the future. The basic questions to which we want to offer answers with this meeting is the applicable concept of the application of information and communication technologies in city management processes, where all aspects of functioning would be absolutely and completely managed through technology: property, transport, water and energy supply services, traffic, education, health and everything in order to use resources more efficiently and improve the lives of citizens. In this sense, the proposed presentations can be inspired by the following topics and areas of research:

Important dates:

registration and abstract submission: by January 1;
notification of abstract acceptance: by January 14;
sending the complete work: until January 31;
final notification of acceptance of the complete work: by February 05;
registration fee payment: until February 10;
registration and payment of registration fee: until February 18.
final list of accepted papers: until February 20;
complete conference agenda: until February 26;
opening of the conference on February 28.

SUBMISSION

We invite authors to submit unpublished and original papers that are not being considered for publication at other conferences or in journals. Papers should contain original scientific, professional or applied results of the author’s work. All submitted works will be reviewed, but the authors are solely responsible for the originality and quality of their works. The expected number of pages for each paper is 6 to 12, except for invited papers which may have more than 6 pages. At least one of the authors of each accepted work is obliged to register, pay the registration fee and present the work. Authors can choose one of the following options for the presentation of their work: oral presentation, panel session presentation or online presentation. The language of the meeting is English. You can find out more about the conference on the conference website. The registration fee is 2000 dinars until 20.02.2025, after that it is 3000 for authors from Serbia, and 20 euros for foreign authors also until 20.02.2025, after that it will be 30e. The registration fee is not paid for papers in the student session of the Conference.
Notice:
Alfatech conference accepts original, previously unpublished works.
All submitted works will be reviewed by an international scientific committee, through a double blind review and one formal review.
Papers describing any research approach and results or type of paper including conceptual, empirical and critical literature reviews.
English is the official conference language – all papers have to be written in formal English.
Submitted papers must be formatted using conference template.
All papers must be sent to alfatech@alfa.edu.rs
All accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts – print and online.
All accepted and presented papers will be published in the Special Edition of the Alfatech conference magazine – printed and online, with ISBN, DOI and UDC number.
Updated versions of selected papers will be published in partner scientific journals.
Instructions for payment of the registration fee will be sent after acceptance of the abstract.
It is planned that the papers will be presented in three ways – Plenary presentations (15 minutes per paper) – Presentations within the sessions (10 minutes per paper) – Poster section
